Belated Bachelorrette Party Extravaganza

Well I know I said I'd update by monday but I'm notoriously bad for updating, so instead here is a re-cap of Kristi's Bachelorette party a week ago.
I met up with Kristi at her work before we headed back to the house to get ready for the party and then drove to Joe's Crabshack, where we met Jill right as we arrived and Carey and Amanda soon followed. We ordered our girly drinks in fish bowls(awesomeness!), which were yumtastic, we ended up passing them around and taking sips from each drink. The food was good, the drinks great but the company was exquisite. We were all just having a good time hanging out, and while I had met all the girls seperately before it was great to be able to meet them all at once, they are such a great bunch!
After food we headed over to Icons, a new dance club, and had more to drink and danced. There was Metallica and Timewarp for us! Strangely we were the only one's dancing the Timewarp, who doesn't love the Timewarp? And as I said before I just need to be sufficiently drunk to let my inner ham out of the bag. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and while Carey had to leave early and Jill went to sober up at Richards, Amanda, Kristi and I stayed until the bar closed. It was a night of just pure awesomeness, everyone was great and I had a blast, at one point I think I was sitting on the dance floor just laughing like crazy and attempting to pole-dance(that endeavor was given up quickly). I usually don't go to dance bars but this was such a great experience, I would definitely do it again.

The next morning we woke up around noonish and had some apple cider doughnuts Brandon had bought, and relaxed for a bit before I headed back up to Chicago and Kristi went to a baby shower.

My parents moving to Mexico, which was supposed to be this coming Thursday has now been delayed a week due to complication on the buyer of our house's end. As much as I know mom and dad are ready to go but I know they need the extra week to finish up. And since they'll be staying longer I don't feel this need to spend time with them.
