This morning, as I was walking out the door, a piece of paper fell in front of me. Apparently the apt. management wants to show my room to a potential buyer. I am miffed at this point because they wanted to show it today and they didn't tell me till the last minute. It had snowed and rained heavily last night so my car was covered in snow and ice, I fell and scraped up my left leg, and took me ten minutes to get my car ready. I went and did some quick shopping, but my original plans of doing artwork this afternoon were out the window as I prepared and cleaned my room, to the point where it would be show quality.
Around 4:45 the potential buyer came, looked for 5 minutes, and left. My 4 hours of hard work, cleaning like I don't do unless I'm expecting guests to stay, seemed pointless. I worked hard to make the apartment look as close to a model room with someone living in it, I should've just organized things a little.
What worries me is these potential buyers were really unhappy about the amount of rent I paid, and if they buy it, I think they're going to increase it or ask me to move out.... which I know they can't because I have a contract till June, but I'm a little paranoid right now.
