Week Dump

Well after a long while of not posting *yes, yes I know I'm bad* I've decided to post. Mostly, there is nothing exciting going on in my life.
Thusday, Marlon and I went out to get dinner at Cucina Roma, ony to find out it was closed so we went to La Magdelena, and had good food and a good talk.
Friday, I just relaxed and started some sketches after work, and for some odd reason even though the work week was shorter I was drained more than usual. *This is why you do not read till ungodly hours books that alert your mind, so it's sluggish for the next few days*
Saturday I enjoyed my first non-sick Saturday by, cleaning the apartment... I organized some things went to the hardware store to finish hanging things, went to hobby lobby to get some frames, the works, stopped at Panera to celebrate my new found HOS, and came home to the sweltering apartment. I decided to barricade myself in the bedroom (where the AC works the best) and just relaxed.
Sunday I visited my mom back home and did the laundry and we went for a walk. Mom was enjoying the first time in 25 years that she had the house for over 48 hours to herself.
Monday, I was very relaxed, felt very serene the whole day. I don't know if it was because the weekend didn't drain me but even doing an hour over time did not feel streneous.
Tuesday, The fourth consecutive day of no service guys in the office and I was about to scream. The customers kept on calling, and I think some of them thought I just wasn't putting them through, the sales rep lectured me on how to answer the phone and respond to customers.... well I'm sorry I do my best to be courteous and helpful but if they are being exceptionally rude, and aren't a customer but a telemarketer, I'm not going to be the most pleasant person.
Wednesday, I went to work, which was well, non-descript is probably the best word for it, except that I'm having connection problems *grumbles at network* Accounting class went well, I'm really enjoying it, almost scaring myself at times at how utterly relaxed and friendly I am in the class. I'm not the kid that sits in the back trying to blend in, I ask questions, I banter with the teacher, and other classmates, it's great but every day I feel like a different person there, but it's me and it's very odd.
Thursday: Well this morning there was the annual review, and I am quite excited and happy about it because Peter (my boss) said that he was going to urge headquarters to give me a bigger raise then they normally give their employees. He gave me a glowing review, saying I was doing a great job, doing beyond what I was hired to, and to keep up the good work. Is it stupid that such a small thing made me happy. And I told him about my accounting class and he said he'd try to get a partial tuition reimbursement for me! Yeay! *strokes wallet to appease it*

ramblings, work
