Busy - Busy Week.

Of course it's nothing compared to what's going on down south.

But onto other things. Listed by groupings:

I spent almost the entire day Saturday asleep. I went home for mom's b-day and Ken and I went shopping for her present and in Best Buy I just suddenly ran out. I could not stand, think and was talking in a high squeak voice. Even when I tried to lower it to my normal level it wouldn't. We got in the house around 2 and I just neandered to the couch and collapsed. Dad said that I had a fever, started when I told him I woke up with my whole body aching. Sunday was better, my apetite had returend at least. My mom is delving into New-Agedom

Monday I had a slight relapse after I came home from work and tackled cleaning the kitchen. I ended up taking a nap and then sat and drew designs for the X'mas card contest at work. Will upload them tonight when I have the chance. I have not worked that single mindedly on pieces of drawings since I graduated. I sat down at the coffee table, and just drew without really taking a break for 4 hours straight both days. As I have said for the past decade, deadlines are excellent motivators. Oh, and ink is fun, it's like painting, without waiting forever for paints to dry, and very easily reworkable.

I thought my mind would explode Wed. evening. I have new found respect for our accounting department. For some reason I was having the worst time wrapping my head around some of these concepts. To the point where it was so long ago but calculus seemed easier. Calculus is straight numbers, it doesn't have conditions or various terminology that mean the same thing. On the plus side, I wasn't the only one that thought I was losing my mind, and by the end of the class I was getting the hang of it.

sick, accounting, work
