My weekend, so far

This is what happened tonight.
Well where to start. Kristi, Jess and I grabbed dinner from Sushi Popo and then went to Jess's to eat it and have some drinks. We had some mixed drinks and enjoyed ourselves (Rave in the bathroom!) until Thomas came to pick us up to go to the Elbo Room. I had promised people that I would drink more than 2 drinks tonight, to the point where I might call myself drunk. Well I reached it. I ended up making out with this guy, Johnny, (who thought Kristi was 21, 17, and then 14e, but that was right before the bar closed and he was pretty drunk) and he asked me to go mess around him later, but I declined, well I've still got some moral line that I won't cross. I tried to have a shot but then I spilled it all over myself, to quote Rachel 'I have alcohol on my boob and I made out with a dude' and was scaring her. It was funny though because I kept on saying I was drunk, I normally would not make out with someone. But it was a really fun night. The Elbo Room has a lot of cool people which were great to hang out with, it was great to see Jess again because she's always a blast, and there was lots of dancing and singing. People wanted us to dance the time warp to "Time after Time" by Cindy Lauper, it was just not possible. I didn't really sing into the microphone except this one verse to a song I didn't know (I think it was called 30 years or something) but I did sing aloud almost the entire time, mostly to songs I didn't know the words to. It felt good, like I had a weekend that I always thought I was supposed to have, and it was a lot of fun.

Earlier in the day we(Kristi & I) went to her paren'ts house and played with kitties and then watched the Tanz der Vampire performance on DVD, and it was just great to finally see it. The songs were amazing by themselves but seeing them actually perform was even better. My favorite part was Knoblauch, and when the professor was hanging from the wall. And the kitties were great as always. Fun times were had with that.

And onto last night.
The concert was great. No Address, the opening band, was a good opening band, but I kept on getting distracted by the guys behind us. Once Staind came on though, that's when the real concert experience started. There is something extremely freeing of rock concerts with the head banging and the music and the concert feeling, plus the company of Kristi is always good. 3 Doors Down, was amazing, they were great, we stood up and the whole concert hall came alive. Including the people behind us, who sloshed alcohol on Kristi so we moved out of the projectory of a lady dancing while a full cup of beer in her hand. She was more wasted then I was tonight. After the concert we went to Kroger's to grab some Tostito's and Nacho cheese, because all the Nacho's at the concert gave us a craving for it. Once back at her apartment, we sat down and ate the nacho's and watched Spaced. Which was hillarious, I am truly <3 ing the show, the characters are all geeky wacked.
