It seems almost like a repeat of last time.

The conformation of the trip comes, and in what seems like the blink of an eye things are packed and i'm driving... driving...

As of now I'm sitting in a WoHo in Mississippi.

we left less than 24 hours ago.

I kept forgetting to tell people.

On my way to Arizona. Yay for working somewhere I actually enjoy.

Duchess, I will get you that video I promised you. Ironically this is the first time I've had a chance to sit on the net without someone hovering over me.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That was what I meant to post over a month ago....
so there it is..
the current situation is more like this..
Roughly 2 more weeks in the AZ.
This excites and depresses me all at once.
I hate the heat and the dust, and the military helicopters that fly over. i would never be able to live here, but its a wonderful place to visit.
I love the atmosphere, the lovely sunsets and waking up to the mountains. The moon at night, even in waning, is so bright its AMAZING.
I can't wait to be back at GARF, although after being among a different group of Ren-folk, i wonder if it will feel the same.
I look forward to seeing all the friends, and family, that i see for those 2 months. I miss them even more than normal, given that the things that often brought us together have been out of my reach.
I have bodice tan lines from hell.
I HATE HATE HATE children. Well, I really hate their parents for not teaching them basic things, or monitoring them better.
Working the slide, the majority of what I do is tell kids the same set of instructions all day. "Cross your ankles, arms crossed over your chest, and lay flat on your back." I modify slightly for really young children, or for people with special needs
Half these kids apparently don't know what "ankles" are. one has asked me "how do you do that?" after i said "lay flat on your back". My favorite were the idiots who stood by watching while their children CLIMB on the supports for the big plastic tube that people are shooting down every 15 seconds. And if anyone took two seconds to look at the rules, posted on a BIG sign, they wouldn't have to argue with me when I tell them they can't hold their kid in their lap while sliding.
ah well, on my breaks I get to enjoy a really nice faire. Its beautiful site, and there are some wonderful people here.
My laptop is giving me shit...
other than that, I have so many things I wish I had time and money to do before we leave, but oh well..
thats all i can thing of for the moment... but i'll have this internet again thursday..
