(no subject)
I can now say that cosplay is underway, except for the fact that I don't have purple hair...it's just something I gotta do. I actually found a Capsule Corp. patch to put on Trunks' jacket once I either find a resembling one or make one. I bought a cheap-o sleeveless shirt that perfectly matches Trunks' shirt, and I made the belt from an old seat buckle because when you really look at it, that is exactly what it is. All that I need now is bag-tastic pants, what I plan on being Salvation Army boots that I will paint up a bit, the sword and another seat belt for the strap, and another inch for my hair. Sure I'll be a very, very tall Trunks, but it'll still look good. And this is not the episode 138+ Trunks with the long hair, I'm talking before that with the short hair.
Lets see... hmm... I'd actually like to do Tsukasa from .hack//SIGN. I know that it'd be impossible hard to do, but who knows. The staff would be a total bitch to make though. Although I wonder... what would I look like in his skirt thingy, lol. Great, I'm going to look even more gay then the time I wore Mello's peecoat, Liz's glasses, and Clement's jewery. Way to make me look queer girls, lol.
The last costume I'm doing is Portgas D. Ace from One Piece. Seeing as I never see anyone cosplaying as him, I might as well. Plus, his costume is beyond easy. Only one problem...I have no idea what his feet look like. Is he wearing sandals? Shoes? Boots? Not a clue. If anyone out there can point me in the direction of a picture, I'd be much obliged. I'm wondering though if they'd ever let me walk around without a shirt. Probably not. Gonna have to make his jacket and scarf thing too. Although I wonder where I'm going to get freckles from. Can't really pull them outta my butt.
