Synopsis:Yuji comes home to find Takeru waiting up for him.

Yuji was on his way home to the apartment he shared with Takeru. Masato and he had been at the studio finishing up some of the last guitar recordings. The recording would not have lasted late into the night, but there had been some technical difficulties. Yuji was glad they had managed to fix the problems and be able to go home and get some much needed rest. Arriving at the apartment complex, Yuji made his way into the building to his apartment.
Upon entering the apartment the only source of light came from the television in the living room. Yuji slipped his shoes off, set his keys on the table next to the door, and made his way to the living room. There curled up on the couch with a blanket was Takeru who seemed to have fallen asleep with the TV still on.
Glancing at the screen to see what Takeru had been watching, Yuji didn’t have to guess what had made Takeru fall asleep. It seems he had been watching some documentary on lakes and the guy talking would put anyone to sleep, even a person who had way too much caffeine. Yuji turned on the living room light and made his way to the couch to sit down next to Takeru. He then gently shook Takeru to awaken him.
“When did you get home?” Takeru asked as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
“A few minutes ago, you do know you didn’t have to wait up for me. You could have just gone to bed if you were tired,” Yuji replied to Takeru.
“I wasn’t waiting for you to return. I was watching TV.”
“Because a documentary about lakes was something that really caught your interest and you just had to watch it.”
“As a matter of fact it did peak my interest.”
“If it was so interesting then why were you sleeping?” Yuji smirked at Takeru as he spoke.
“I wasn’t asleep.”
“Sure.” Yuji’s reply dripped with sarcasm. The only response to that that Yuji received was ‘humph’ from Takeru. After sitting in silence for a few minutes, Yuji turned to look at Takeru, who was nodding back off to dreamland.
“Hey sleepyhead, don’t you want to sleep on your bed and not this hard couch?” Yuji spoke to Takeru who didn't seem to hear him. Sighing, Yuji stood up and leaned down to pick up the sleeping Takeru to take him to his bed. Entering Takeru’s room, Yuji walked to Takeru’s bed to set him down. Seeming to sense the loss of warmth, Takeru clung to Yuji.
“Hey, let me go.”
“No, you’re warm and it’s cold,” Takeru mumbled sleepily to Yuji.
“How are you cold? It’s hot in here to me.”
“No, it’s not. It’s freezing.” Yuji leaned down and put his hand to Takeru’s forehead as Takeru spoke.
“No wonder your cold you have a fever,” Yuji replied. Standing back up, Yuji headed back out of the room and out of sight.
“Hey, where are you going?” Takeru shouted at Yuji’s retreating back.
Upon returning back to Takeru’s room, Yuji noticed Takeru was almost asleep. After turning off the lights in the room, Yuji slipped into Takeru’s bed.
“Where did you go and what are you doing in my bed?” Takeru asked.
“I went to turn off the TV and lights in the living room and went to change into my pajamas. As to why I’m in your bed, you’re the one who said I was warm. So, I’m going to keep you warm for the night.”
“Oh, okay,” Takeru mumbled in response and tugged Yuji’s body closer to his to keep warm. Hugging each other closely, Yuji and Takeru soon fell into a peaceful sleep.
