Long story short...
Ok Speedy Update as it has been more then a year since my last post (no apologies, life happens):
I left the job I was working at last spring to start at a new company that was more related to my education.
I was there for nearly a year (without much change truthfully) before they laid me off in Feb of this year.
I have been out of work since then and haven't had much luck in the way of job hunting despite multiple applications, assistance from a placement agency, and a couple resume changes.
Wedding planning is going fairly well, have both venues, Save the Dates, Invites, a DJ, my dress, brides maids dresses, and some of the table decorations done.
Lots still to do but even this week there is suit rentals being set up, and a cake tasting ;)
Feeling the need to just punch a few words out again as I seem to have more time on my hands again. Right after I was laid off I spent a lot of time playing ddr and being more active, but recently I have hurt my back (probably herniated a disk) and am no longer allowed to do as much. I may not push, pull, drag, bend, twist or lift as far as my doctor is concerned.
I just try and work within my range of motion and pain tolerance for that day (which is sometime better managed then others).
Time passes so fast some day and yet seems to drag in others. We are moving soon, away from this little house to spend some time with my future bonus family before the wedding and after that I am not sure but I know there will be new opportunities either way.
