While I wait for some software to download and sync, here are some cool links:

The most isolated man on the planet - about the last member of an uncontacted tribe in Brazil, and how, instead of trying to pull him into the modern world, Brazil designated a 31 square mile as his (ie, off limits to farmers and people who want to cut down the trees) so he can continue to live his life.  Sadly, a novel approach to the situation, but totally the right one.

The Psychology of Nature - Why we need nature to function optimally.

Nature: A pathway to clearer thinking - An article on REI's blog relating to the above link.

Speaking of REI's blog, they have had some excellent articles recently.  I "liked" them (or added them, or something) on Facebook and now their blog updates appear on my FB feed.  Something interesting to read on the bus rides to and from school.

links, nature
