One Down...
Last night we sold the Eclipse. Got just about what I expected for it and hopefully the new owner will love it. He seems the right age to have a lot of fun with a zippy convertible.
Much as it was the first car I ever bought new, it was also the first car I've ever sold. This weekend will bring another first - first attempt at a trade-in. We'll be aiming to shave a good chunk off the cost of (another) new car by trading in the Sky. With a little luck and the funds from the Eclipse sale (and assuming I'm not actually being unreasonable about what I want for the Sky on trade), I will hopefully get out of the purchase without too much of an out of pocket cost.
And then hopefully I will be done with car buying for a good long while. *crosses fingers* I've been doing too much of that over the last decade.
