So much for writing more regularly, in spite of the general insanity that has been life as of late (which is usually what motivates my blatherings). Today, I feel that when it comes to deciding about going to a dusty environment at the end of August, this is the place to type my neuroses

Maybe you should see how you feel after Sand by the Ton. As I understand it, it's quite the meeting place for burners off all sorts. Maybe you'll have had enough carnie-folk once that event is over.

writing irregularly is better than not writing at all :-)

i've never really understood the appeal of the-dusty-place-that-shall-not-be-named... maybe a few years back, before it became such a big thing, but even then it always sounded to me like more trouble than it's worth, although i certainly know folks who love it.

I've been on the even year plan for awhile now...

But, what do they say about insanity = doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results...I'm wondering if coming off the ever-year plan may be my best bet.
