Infinte Knowledge Knows No Bounds
I am truly beginning to question the sanity of my General Manager at work. He just gets specialer and specialer. First of all, last night he had a meeting to attend out of the store and didn't tell anyone! For 2 hours we had no manager. My Tech. Consultant had to stay late because of it. And then this morning when I got in I find out that we had 2 people opening computers today but no closer -_-
Fail GM. Fail.
So me being the nice person that I am did my Out of Stocks and then offered to go home and come back later on to close. Just makes everyones' lives easier that way. Especially since the one other person that could work today we don't have his phone number to call in.
Now I'm home for about the next hour and a half. I actually left at 9:30 and walked over to the Downtown Branch of the Library, which I found up didn't open up til 10. It was so weird sitting there on the floor outside well a herd of people gathered around and stampeded into the library. Whoever heard of a stampeded to get into a library? Spent 2 hours there, got me some lunch, and then took the bus home with my books. And now I'm making my chili in the slow cooker (I love that thing!).
Being the ever smart person that I am though I didn't actually pick up any canned tomatoes to go in it. Opps. So I'm trying something new. Fresh tomatoes that I'm going to peel and simmer down into something tasty (I hope).
