There's no respect for life here.

That's 'cause there's no respect for death. Blame the healers who can resurrect the dead. It ain't natural.

Who said I wasn't blaming them? The dead should stay dead. What's happening now has made a joke out of everything.

....

I'd just as soon they didn't, if it's all the same to you.

What then? Would you live forever? I assure you it's nowhere near as grand as it seems.

What are you going to do? You're seeking revenge now, am I right? And what if you kill Silv? The clerics can bring him back. Are we going to institute a rule that he stays dead, because of who he's killed? Can that even be instated, given that death is joke here?

At this rate, people will be slaughtering each other without blinking an eye. There's no finality. It's become cheap.

And don't give me that look. I'm upset too. If it had happened to Sora, I'd be doing the same thing as you. I still plan to help -- and I'm not going to be in the way of those who want his blood spilled now. But it doesn't change the fact this place mocks everything. Even the most sacred of things.

It still doesn't change the fact that what he did is unforgivable.

It's even taken a bit of the joy out of a good fight. What's the point of flirtin' with death if it's always just gonna be a one-night stand?

[[Why do I bother making analogies.]]

It will make everyone more careless than they already are.

And gives those that might have had some self-restraint opportunity to unleash whatever they want on anyone.

In other words, real chaos might be imminent. If you wouldn't call what's happening now chaos already.
