5 things from kayeff

i) Voyager
Back when my schedule involved actually being awake through the day (and usually spending several hours every Thursday in the kitchen/dining room making large batches of empanadas), I used to soak up a hell of a lot of Star Trek: Voyager. Hey, don't judge-I don't control the TV, and my dad isn't exactly discerning about what he watches. Add that to the fact that it was the first Trek series that I was old enough to understand when it was airing, and I have a certain bizarre affection for it despite knowing full well it's generally considered the second-worst of the Trek series. There's just something...cute about it. I'm not so sure I'd want to marathon all seven seasons at a go, but I'll watch and giggle when there's some on TV.

ii) Avari
kayeff talks about template characters, whose names and basic information are canonical but about whom so much is unknown that fans can fill in the gaps however they please. Well, the Avari are an entire template race. One word in each of six languages and some vague indications that they're stealthy, stealthy forest ninjas or something. And possibly invisible, at least by the end of the Seventh Age. Just delicious as a jumping-off point for worldbuilding, and I do so love my worldbuilding. (Designing a Bronze-Age elf society from the ground up was great fun. I still miss Morwe, despite only having played her in a couple of scenes.)

iii) Dance!
I'm not particularly cut out for it or anything, but in so far as there's any kind of physical exertion I can enjoy, this is it. I suppose because it's disguised with music or something.

iv) Porny music tiem
Shit, woman, I have you listen to one porny-sounding song and my reputation is ruined forever. But it really does sound like porn. Despite being, y'know, about stabbing the bourgeois pigs and all that.

v) Naveen Andrews
Because he's made of awesome, that's why. One of my two positive memories from The English Patient, and one of my favorite parts of Lost.
