The doctor, his wife, the first blind man and his wife, the girl with dark glasses, and the old man with the black eyepatch I imagined as their actors from the film.
The leader of the thugs (in movie terms, the king of Ward 3) I imagined as older and heavier than Gael García Bernal; the car thief was younger in my head; my image of the woman with insomnia was softer-featured and had long hair. I don't know what a lot of the other actors look like, so we'll see how they stack up against what my imagination came up with when the movie comes out.
