2010 Writing Goals

Not sure if you've noticed, but the whole writing thing has kinda come back to me lately. Currently, it's just fanfic again, but I'm dead determined to try work on this beyond fanfiction. I'm making adjustments to my schedule to work writing into being a regular part of my week, and I'd like to start posting things a little more regularly. I know that right now, my writing still needs a lot of work, and that'll come with practise and with feedback and encouragement and stuff. So for the time being, as I'm developing a plot and characters, I'll keep writing the fanfic to keep practising and god knows I love the pairings I write as much as any person reading them. So I sure as hell like writing them as much as I can. HOWEVER, in the near future, I'd like to begin posting a bit of a novella on here, chapter by chapter, that would be completely original. Keeping true to my comfort zone, it would probably be romance. It'll probably be two guys. It might not be much, I would just like something else to post here that could have a running story that for once does not involve me deflowering a 16 year old. ^^;;;;;;;;;;

Anyways, the reason I post this is because I do know some people just can't get into original fics. And to be honest, the reason I would be working on this wouldn't be for just wanting to get a story out, but so I can get feedback as it goes on, people telling me what they think of the character development, where they'd like to see it going, if they think there are parts that just don't fit right... I need the feedback. So I need to know if there would be any interest at all, and if it would be worth posting.
