Justin ran his fingers over the smooth metal, fumbling the ring between his fingers.
He was cold. He couldn’t be bothered to put on a sweater, because, for some reason he liked the cold. He liked the contrast when he held the ring, now warm to the touch after holding it for so long.
Despite being so far away, and feeling so alone, even though he really wasn’t, that warmth was reassuring.
Because, some how, Justin knew that, off in Pittsburgh, no matter what, Brian was feeling that same warmth.
And he didn’t need some wedding vow to prove that.
