So i just gave a direct donation because my dad's going in for surgery (which i'm strangely zen about). LONG STORY. Anyway, not the point. I did not know you could give a direct donation. Also, giving blood fills me up with this crazy energy. I don't mean "crazy" as in "a lot", I mean "crazy" as in "psycho". Sure, i have a lot of extra energy but it makes me into a crazy, really up person. It drives renzo insane. I really can't help it. It's unintentional and i have no idea what it is. I try to keep it under control though. It's like giving blood is my super drug. Eventually there is some sort of crash where i get really sleepy, but that won't happen for a few hours. Yes, that's right, HOURS. I will be this crazy for hours. It's like crystal meth in a can. It's crystal meth in a can. Powerthirst is crystal meth. It's like i'm filled with caffeine without all the shaking. I'm even typing faster than normal. When i talk to people, i talk faster too. I had to keep repeating myself to renzo because of that. I should just be locked up when this happens.
Anyway, least favorite part about giving blood? It's not even the huge needle sucking out my blood (by the way, i can bleed 550 ml of blood in a little over 12 minutes through my tiny thread-like vein), it's the part where they do the tiny prick on your finger to test your iron level. That's the worst. It hurts worse than the hole in my arm where my life liquid was sucked out from.
i should give the message that you should donate blood only because it seems that people have stopped donating blood and, well, it's kinda important. If you have the time, iron level, blood, and healthiness, giving blood would be a nice thing. Who knows, it might make you feel like you're on speed like me. That's a nice side effect. Plus, free food.
