(no subject)
I was so productive today, it was ridiculous. On the way to class, I saw a man dressed as a giant egg. There was no face, no body, no arms. Just a giant egg with yellow legs. It looked like Sheldon from Garfield and Friends. I wish I had had my camera. I got to class five minutes early. That'll teach me to live for class half an hour early. It's 45 minutes from now on. I haven't been in class for awhile so i forgot what it was like. It's long and it was hard to focus. The class was okay. After class I visited a professor i needed to talk to and worked my class exemption out. Now I don't have to take research methods. Remember that 39 page research paper i did in 2 days? Ends up it helped me out. I sent her my syllabus and research paper and she agreed I didn't need to take it. Plus, she told me that she was really impressed with my paper and how I tied the material in. Yay me. That paper ended up being good for something. Then I got my loan work straightened out.
Then I went to Borders for a book (Must Love Hellhounds) that i had a 30% coupon for. I had to go to the one in Chestnut Hill because they were the only ones that had it even though it came out yesterday. It was like walking to mecca again. It was a 20 minute walk from the T. Not so bad on the way back, but confusing as hell on the way there because i had no idea where i was going. I made it on the first try though. That Borders was huge. I found the book i wanted and skimmed a little bit of 3 other books. Thoroughly satisfied i went to the check out but couldn't find it. On the way there, i found this bag which i LOVE.

Now, everyone knows i can't keep a purse for shit, but a tote i could do. It took me a really long time, but then i saw this and knew it was the one i wanted. Funny how things like that happen, huh? I told Renzo about it immediately, of course, and he told me to send him a picture. I was so sure he was going to hate it because i pick out ugly things. It's the truth. I told him he was going to hate it. Through the phone, he told me, "that's cute!!" which gave me no end of relief and glee. I did good. For once. See, i'm not going to come home ugly.
When i came home, i got 2 packages. Packages always bring me joy. It was my super awesome new gustbuster umbrella in navy blue (which i can't wait to battle the rain with. Now all i need is some affordable rain boots) and some thermal stuff my sister had sent up for me. Oh!! My mom went to old navy today and she was going to use my stuff and save bag to get me thermals and stuff. She didn't know what to get me, so i called and asked Sam if she was working tomorrow (today) and she said yes. She told me what they had and i told her exactly what i wanted (colors, styles, sizes, things with hoodie, material) and she told me to go online to old navy and send her some stuff so she could be sure. I sent my mom to the store when sam was working and she ended up helping my mom get all this stuff for me. It was pretty funny. Thank you, Sam.
Also in my productive pile is that i applied for a job as a copy/mail assistant. I really hope i get it.
I don't know why, but i keep thinking you guys like pictures. I keep putting crap up. I'm probably going to keep doing it, but not as frequently. I'm going to wait till i have a crap load to post. That way it won't get so bothersome. Well, i'm off to go make myself something to eat. My stomach just literally growled out me.
