Well, my first day of my classes is over. Ughhh. So, my MWF (monday, wednesday, friday) classes are going to Asian the hell out of me. My Uni prides itself in the amount of Asian students it has (everywhere you look, you see tons and tons of native Asian people), but it’s like WHOA.
Let me give a breakdown of the classes I had today:
- SOC 220-04 -Social Problems (8:30AM-9:20AM)
- It’s early, and it’s a pretty deep topic to cover…but I really, really like Sociology. And, as I walked to the class (which is in Lily Hall, a biology building, wtf.), I wondered if it was going to be anything like my intro Sociology class. And….it will be. My professor is the same as the intro class, and lo-and-behold, we’ll be covering some of the same topics as before. The format of class is exactly the same. Good. Nothing to re-adjust to. The only bad part of class…his two TA’s are super cute Chinese/Korean Asian boys. I’ll be distracted a little. Oh well. I know I’ll enjoy this class because we started talking about Suicide already! (No, I’m not some sicko morbid creep, but I find suicide fascinating)
- STAT 113 - Statistics in Society *Recitation Class* (10:30AM-11:20AM)
- I hate math. It took me two semesters to pass MA152, which is practically the stupid kid math class. But, I have to take this. The TA for this recitation class is SO CUTE. She’s a small Chinese girl…and her voice is really girly and adorable. She is very kind, so I know that I will be alright with her, even though I hate what she is teaching. But…the regular STAT class takes place every day other than Mondays in a huge lecture hall (I didn’t think it was possible to teach math as a lecture. Ugh.) and apparently the Professor SUCKS. Like, he teaches you nothing and expects you to know everything. Not happy right now about that.
- JPNS 102 - Japanese 102 (12:30PM-1:20PM)
- It’s not my Japanese class from last semester (we were all really close, and Ito-sensei was the coolest teacher I have ever had), but the class is just as small and everyone is really nice and funny. We have four Lee-san’s in our class. Ahahaha. But, The professor is very, very kind. She is also funny and just really likeable…and she looks like a supermodel. But, we had to do review sessions in class…we would introduce ourselves to our partner and them to us, you know the drill. Well, I was partnered with this really cute boy…named Yuu. He’s a second year, too, like me…majoring in Computer Science and Math, and was made in China. And he figured out I was learning Korean, and instantly turned to the boy behind him and said “He’s Korean.” and this boy just started “BLAH BLAH BLAH”ing to me non-stop. “I saw you had a Big Bang charm, you know them? And a GD sweatshirt, wow” etc, etc. And I felt a little bad, because he was ignoring his partner, but he was cute, so whatever, sorry guy LOL. Also…they moved up from behind me at the beginning of class to sit next to me. |D I hope that might be a sign.
Tomorrow I have STAT Lecture, PHIL 110 (Philosophy), JPSN 102, and EAS 100 (Earth Sciences). Tomorrow shouldn’t be as awesome as my MWF’s, but oh well. Korean class starts back up in February, right after my birthday. :D I’d say it’s a good present. The classes are on Wednesdays this semester…which works well for me, because I only have two classes on Wednesdays ;D
Also, what the eff, this is too funny. I have gotten three phone numbers from three different guys in the past month. How does this…I don’t even…LOL;;;; Anyway, so, I posted some macros/captions. Enjoy those.
Aaaaaanyway, this post is far too long. Time to occupy myself in some other way.
