Character Information:
Full Name: Sakura Kinomoto
Series Taken From: Card Captor Sakura!
Power Retained: The ability to see into the future by dreams. It's sort of useless in the sense that she sees very confusing things when she dreams of the future. An example would be that she would see a silhouette of a person, and not know who, it could be. Another thing is that if she ever is startled when she wakes up, she ends up forgetting what she just dreamed about. These dreams are also reoccurring, and her dreams make her always think about them, even if she doesn't have much to go on.
Is it alright to be warned prior to haunting and other events so she can dream about it?

If that power is not suitable for this RP, then I would like to retain her power to sense ghosts.
Background:
Sakura Kinomoto was born on the first of April. Her mother, Nadeshiko, died when Sakura was three years old, though she is not sad over this because she’s happy she still has her father and brother. She can’t remember her mother very well, but her father tells her stories about Nadeshiko and puts new pictures of her up every day, so Sakura grew up feeling like she really did know her mother. Her father, Fujitaka, is a professor at Towa University. He is half of Clow Reed’s reincarnation and passed the power to Sakura, the new master of the cards. Sakura’s older brother Toya often teases Sakura about things like how she eats, or how noisy she is in her upstairs bedroom. She doesn’t take well to the teasing but knows that he loves her very much- he even takes jobs close to where Sakura captures cards so he can help her as she goes along.
Sakura was an average girl: cheerful and energetic, and despite being clumsy she is very athletic. She likes cheerleading and is on the track team, and loves the water and swimming. She’s often portrayed as naïve and dense, but she has her intelligent moments, especially when she’s capturing cards. She is also trustworthy and very optimistic; her catchphrase is: “Everything will surely be alright”; a saying that helped her conquer her obstacles in life.
Sakura hates ghosts because ever since she was little, her brother would tell her stories of the things he saw, which made Sakura scared of paranormal things. Sakura can't see them like her brother Toya can, but she can sense them, and that terrified her even more.
Her best friend is Tomoyo Daidouji, who always makes Sakura take part in her videos, and makes her costumes for catching cards. She found out about Sakura's card capturing by accident, which made it easier for Sakura because she’s able to talk to Tomoyo about all the problems she had with the cards. Tomoyo encourages Sakura all the time, and is actually her second cousin from her mother’s side. She also happens to be in love with Sakura, but never confessed her feelings- instead, Tomoyo directs Sakura towards the people she knows Sakura likes: Yukito, and later on, Syaoran.
Sakura’s story starts when she finds the clow book down in her father's study one day. She found the strange book which revealed a bunch of cards within. After picking up a card and reading the inscription of “windy”, a gust of wind blew all the cards away.
It’s then that Keroberos first appears to her. At the time, Keroberos (or Kero, as Sakura calls him) was in his little form- one that makes Sakura think Kero is a stuffed animal. He’s actually the guardian of the cards, and when Kero explains his job, he notices they are gone, and asks Sakura where they are. She tells him about what happened with the windy card and Kero gets upset about it and explains to Sakura that when the seal on the cards is broken, a catastrophe with befall Sakura's world. Without Clow Reed to control the cards, the cards act on their own, and normal means of getting them under control are useless. Each card possessed great powers befitting of their title. Before Clow Reed died, he placed the cards inside the book Sakura found, and made Kero the guardian of the cards.
Kero then tells Sakura she has to help get all the cards back because she was the reason the cards escaped in the first place. He says that if Sakura could open the book then she has some semblance of magical powers, and gives Sakura a key. This is no ordinary key, but one that turns into a staff that grants her the powers to capture the cards.
At first doesn’t think she could possibly capture the cards, but Kero argues with her since she is the only cardcaptor now that she has the key. With some ingenuity, she manages to catch her first card and becomes a little more confident.
Sakura is still resilient to capturing cards, but she has Kero and Tomoyo backing her up, and after the clow cards start endangering people she decides she would do her best to stop them and recapture them. That’s when a boy named Syaoran comes and claims to be the true heir to inherit the cards.
Li Syaoran is a distant relative of Clow Reed, the maker of the cards. In the beginning, he rejects Sakura as a cardcaptor, but soon after starts to grow attached to Sakura, and the start liking her more than as a friend.
Sakura’s biggest crush is on her brother's friend, Yukito. She crushes so hard on Yukito that she says "Hanyan!" and goes red every time when she sees him. She confessed her love to him at a fair, and he gently turned her down leaving Sakura so upset, she cried to Syaoran about it. This is when Sakura starts to return her love to Syaoran, yet she is still oblivious about Syaoran’s crush.
After she manages to capture all the cards, Yukito is revealed as Yue; the second Guardian of the clow cards. He must place Sakura on trial to become the master of the cards. It was a very hard task for Sakura, but she managed to pass. Yue is quite reluctant to let Sakura become his master, but Sakura tells him she just wants to be his friend, and Yue responds to that wish well when she runs into her next challenge. Keroberos can now transform into his true form; a lion with armor adorning is body.
Her wand took on a new appearance at this point, and Clow Reed appeared in a dream after the trials were over. He explained that her magic from before the trial was borrowed from the sun and the moon, but now her magic derives from a star. The star is small, but as Sakura’s magic grows, so does the star and its brightness. He also warns her of future troubles to come.
Soon, a transfer student by the name Eriol Hiiragizawa who had came into her class. Eriol was no ordinary boy, since he is actually the other half of Clow Reed’s reincarnation; he retains Clow’s magic and memories. He was sent to Sakura to make sure all the cards Sakura had captured were transformed into her own version of the cards. All of this was done in secret, until Sakura had only two cards left to transform.
Eriol turned the whole town dark, and made everyone who wasn’t magical go into a deep sleep. He told Sakura that she must transform both the light card and the dark card together in order to rid the darkness. She couldn’t seem to do it, even when Kero and Yue offer their help. She continues to try, but she doesn’t have enough magic to get the job done. Syaoran tries to help unsuccessfully as well, but his mere presence was what finally made Sakura transform the cards successfully. The cards are finally her own, sustained on her own power.
Then, one day, Syaoran gets a phone call from his mother. He has to go back to Hong Kong, but before he does he tells Sakura he loves her. Sakura is surprised, and she cannot answer back right after he confessed. It takes Sakura some time, but her friends help her figure out who she loves most. Then, on the morning he is going to china, she finds him at the last moment to give him her answer. She tells him she loves him the most, and that she will wait for him, no matter how long it takes for him to come back to her.
Two years later, Sakura has reoccurring dreams about a strange house on a hill. She doesn’t know much about this house, but she knows she’s drawn to it. She can’t exactly explain it. One day, when she finds the house standing ominously in a usually empty lot. Her curiosity spikes and she wanders up to the steps of the house, carefully knocking on the door. Upon knocking on the door, it opened, just an inch. Despite having dreamed of this house, she is still scared, as this house looks like it could be haunted. She hears a crow behind her, and, startled by the noise, she stumbles, and falls inside.

Sample Third-Person Post:
Sakura laid face down on the mat in front of the door. She wasn’t very hurt from falling into the house, but she was still scared. Her fear of the house being haunted made her want to cry. She rolls over, sits up, and pushes her back to the door, bringing her knees to her chest. It didn’t register in her mind yet that the door had closed itself after she fell in.
“Hoee” she exclaims, finally looking at the surroundings. Her fear soon turned to awe as she took in the view. She had never seen a place like this before, other than Eriol-kun’s house, and even his house wasn’t as exquisite as this. Even though she is enamored by the house, it really doesn’t help her fears to see the old architecture, and the dark corners.
She shakily stands up; she can hear her heart pounding in her chest as she gropes the door behind her for support. She wonders if anyone lives here, and why they would ever want to live in such a creepy place.
“Um, Hello?” She calls out to the house, still a little wary of her surroundings, “Is anyone here? I’m sorry I just came in,” she stalls a moment waiting for a reply, “but I heard a noise from outside, and just fell in.” She turns around to see the door behind her closed, and starts to tear up. She knows she didn’t close the door, so who did?

Sample First-Person Post:
[Accidental Audio]

[There is what sounds like a girl crying on the PDA. It’s a bit muffled, as it sounds like she might be sitting on it.]

The door… closed on its own… it’s so scary.. I just want to… leave, and this door just won’t… open.
[After a moment, you can hear her get up. The audio is much less muffled, and the rattling of the door can be heard. A thud is heard next to the device.]

I can’t get out... Why did I get stuck in a creepy house, of all places? I really hope this place isn’t haunted, but if it is… [Her sniffling gets louder]
