I was just offered a GA position at SLU for the amount of $4500. It is actually unclear whether this is per-semester or per-year. Either way it is amazing. Per-semester more than covers tuition in full. Per semester covers everything plus about a thousand dollars. Either way, hello grad school, hello free money.
I am quite happy at the moment of this posting. I have lost about 30 pounds so far in the last 6 weeks.
I don't have much else to say. I just thought I'd summarize it all.
edit: i might get to teach a couple undergrads lessons, too!
