Handmade cowl-neck shirt

I recently made this tunic shirt out of a couple of American Apparel shirts. It's surprisingly flattering and comfortable. It's also great for layering over a long-sleeved shirt or paired with arm warmers. I'm thinking about making more for the shop, as well as screen printing some sort of fancy design on them. What do you think?

Also, what colors would you prefer for the cowl-neck shirt? I've already thought of purple, as well as black.
