Young boys, beer and good laughs

Bleauh... I live... I think..

Yeah yeah, I know. I barely ever write here but now I just have to because I hung out with kseenaa friday and we went to see Tokio Hotel!  ^w^

If you want to see pics you can stroll straight to her journal here and have a good laugh at my expense 'cause I look like I've had too many Pies à la Mode.  xP

So, here's what went down...
At 3 pm I got off work and got a ride down to the town square where I bought a 24-hour travel pass. Strolled to the bus stop and caught the Red Express down to Gothenburg where I met up with ksena  at 4.30 pm after some text messaging where I managed to give her quite the mental images involving Georg.  x3

We went to the pharmacy and bought me earplugs (I forgot my own at home). Got the cutest comment that I looked like a really cuddly bear due to my stomach being like a beer belly. To make the most of having a beer belly I had a half-pint of Staropramen (a czech beer) at Dubliners (expensive but really nice Irish pub) where we went to get something to eat. Well... more like she had a Cattleman's burger (big ass burger of approx. 285gr / 0.63 lbs) that came with fries and I had the leftovers.  ;)

After the meal we took a tram close to Scandinavium where the concert was. Ended up standing in line for a good 10 minutes (yet we were there early) and then the security guards had our bags checked. Waterbottles are a no-no so we had to throw them out. The look on the girl that checked my bag was hilarious when she found a roll of duct tape! Had to convince her it was for my shoes since I use it to fix my boots. Even offered her to have a look at my shoes if she liked. She just blinked and nodded and let me in without taking the tape from me. I was honest after all. It was for my shoes. Had another use presented itself then I might've used the tape for that too. Didn't tell her that though.   xP

On the tickets it said the show would begin at 7.30 pm. LIES! Lies I tell you! They didn't come on until 8.50 pm. This is where I have to admit I was not impressed. Okay... please don't kill me, all TH-fans reading this, because what follows is nothing but my personal view on things.

What I cannot for the life of me understand is why they choosed an arena that was way too large and with shitty acoustics. The scene effects were grand but only managed to overtake the entire performance. One could barely see the boys at all even with the videoscreens. Then again, those were mostly focused on Bill (of course). The place wasn't even sold out (turns out there were 3.63k people in an arena that can hold 14k people). All I could think of was the following...

- Why did they choose such a large arena when the acoustics are so bad?
- Why do they need all that props? What's wrong with a good old scene show where one can see the band?
- Why did Bill sound like Michael Jackson when he spoke and whatever made him dress in those ridicoulus outfits?
- Why didn't Tom take his cap of at least once and why does he wear such big pants when they make him waddle like a penguin on stage?

Uhm... yeah... Anyhoo... Georg did great as he was his normal calm self but Gustav was to me the star of the show even if one barely saw him. That stamina! And he was so damn cute afterwards when he went up to the edge of the stage and held his arms up making the audience do the same then bent over wiggling his fingers over his shoes and then up with his arms again having the entire audience do a little work out.  xD

After the concert we went to The Bishops Arms (calm pub in english style) and had a few beers. Well, kseenaa  had ciders and I had beers. During the walk there we discussed the wonderful mental image of Georg in a kilt, then Gustav in a kilt, what the twins would look like in a beard, what we thought of the concert and various other naughty thing. Caught the night bus home and fell asleep so I missed my stop but thankfully woke up just in time to press the stop button 2 stops down the road so it wasn't too far to walk. Only big minus was that it was below -9°C outside so I was freezing my ass off. Came home around 3.30 am and fell face first into bed. Woke up on saturday with a hangover and yet I only had that half-pint + 2 bottles of beer later in the evening. I'm such a light-weighter.  -_-;;

Bottomline is that I had a friggin' good time despite the roots of my hair being a bit sore the next day.  ;)
