Hello, Minwoo minions~! This is the one-shot version of the drabble I made. If you're reading my chaptered fanfics, you will notice the style in which I present both POVs of the characters. This is what I've done here. Call me delulu but I think some of the scenarios here will happen in the future if Jinwoo won't get a fucking solo project soon! T_T
I have no intentions of posting this on my AFF account so Henber, I'm sorry if I have to post this fanfic to this Henber shrine. LOL! I know, I shouldn't be doing this to you, my friends after the almost-forgotten Minwoo photo surfaced but I wrote a new drabble to compensate. It wasn't really created to heal your hearts. I made two versions of a kiss cam!drabble: a Henber version and a Minwoo version.

HIS SIDE OF THE STORY

The queue was not that long at the cashier. The people inside the café were quietly minding their own businesses, ignoring other fellow customers, including Kim Jinwoo who was observing them.
Jinwoo looked at his watch after adjusting his new hoodie. It was a gift from the person he was waiting for in the café. It didn't matter if Song Minho was already twenty-five minutes late. He was filming for Show Me The Money 4 anyway.
Sighing, Jinwoo thought he should have just told Mino that he would buy their drinks then he would wait for the rapper in the dorm. Dorm, YG building, YGKPLUS building, then back to their dorm. It has always been Jinwoo's everyday life ever since Winner's hiatus. He could include the occasional, most of the time secret, dates with Mino. However, the word occasional became seldom when Mino joined the show.
But the mat hyung couldn't complain and in fact, he was happy for Mino. Mino asked their CEO for this project. He just hoped he had the same courage to asking their boss to give him a project as well.
His thoughts were interrupted as the peaceful customers of the café suddenly became like fans attending a concert.
He's here.
"Hyung," a tired yet smiling Mino greeted.
Jinwoo smiled back at him.
"That's Mino, right?"
"Should we ask for his autograph?"
"Who is he with?"
"Oh! It's his bandmate! Jinwoo? I guess that's his name!"
"Oh! Jinwoo-oppa is here all this time! Why didn't I notice him?"
Jinwoo didn't mean to ignore Mino's storytelling of what happened to their filming but the comments from the people around them were distracting him.
"Mino-yah, I think we should just go back to the dorm?" Jinwoo suggested, forcing a smile. He didn't want Mino to see how hurt he was. Not when Mino's smile was coming from his excited heart, travelling from ear to ear.
"Sure, hyung. And I really miss you, I want to hug you," Mino grinned.

"Are you listening to me?"
"Obviously not, Zico-sunbaenim," Song Minho teased his friend, Woo Jiho. The older rapper just sighed.
"Alright, you're free to go! Shoo! How dare you tell me that you don't have a girlfriend?!" Jiho complained that made Mino laugh.
"I really don't have a girlfriend," Mino insisted as he ran away from Jiho before the guy could stop him from leaving the studio.
Because I have a very supportive boyfriend.
Mino thought that he should have just asked Jinwoo to wait for him in the dorm. That the mat hyung shouldn't worry about their food because he will buy it for them. However, he wanted to take Jinwoo out. It has been a while since he dated Jinwoo.
He became very busy since he started filming Show Me The Money. But his Jinwoo-hyung would stay up late and wait for him until he got home.
Mino missed spending time with Jinwoo so much that he asked his hyung to meet him in their favorite café. However, Mino didn't expect that the filming would be extended longer than the usual.
Looking at his watch, the rapper cursed. He was already twenty-five minutes late. He just made Jinwoo wait for him for twenty-five fucking minutes.
He almost didn't wait for the van to stop as he opened its door and went out to run towards the café.
It wasn't difficult to spot Jinwoo as Mino entered the café. No matter how many people surrounded him, Mino would know where Jinwoo is. It wasn't his eyes that would look for the mat hyung but his heart.
"Hyung," he greeted the pretty guy who smiled brightly at him.
His smile took away Mino's tiredness. Just like that.
"I went here as soon as I can. I thought Jiho-hyung would stop me. I almost didn't escape him," Mino pouted. However, he found it hard to talk to Jinwoo with all the murmurs he was hearing around him.
Mino loved his fans. However, spending time with Jinwoo was more important.
"Mino-yah, I think we should just go back to the dorm?" Jinwoo suggested suddenly.
The rapper smiled from ear-to-ear. "Sure, hyung. And I really miss you, I want to hug you."

"Mino-yah, it's me," Jinwoo knocked on the rapper's door.
It was a tough morning for them, seeing how the netizens who adored Mino became his worst enemies in just a snap.
Since Mino got home from YG building to say his official apology, the rapper locked himself inside his room. The mat hyung told the other guys to let Mino be for the meantime when he refused to open the door for their leader, Kang Seungyoon.
Jinwoo had prepared himself to whatever looks Mino had on his face. In this situation, between the two of them, Jinwoo should be the stronger one, his heart should be made of steel.
He looked at the living room as the other members observed him. Mino refused to talk to the other three and they were all counting on Jinwoo to relay their support for the stressed rapper. Jinwoo knew that they were aware of the kind of relationship he and Mino has but they chose to keep quiet and support them silently.
Jinwoo knocked again. "Mino-yah, please."
The sound of the doorknob made Jinwoo sigh in relief. But his heart clenched upon seeing Mino's swollen eyes.
"Jinwoo-hyung," Mino whispered.
Jinwoo knew that saying It's okay would make things worse. It wasn't okay.
All he could think of was to hug Mino tightly, making sure that no words, no other people could harm his Mino.
"I'm here. I'm always here, Mino-yah," Jinwoo whispered as Mino hugged him back and cried on his shoulder.

Mino's hands were trembling that he couldn't even open their dorm's door a while ago. His eyes hurt and he couldn't open it properly. The rapper never left his room since he arrived and he didn't have any plans on leaving the room.
They were demanding an apology from him. He knew he was wrong. What he couldn't accept was he disappointed the four guys outside his room, waiting for him to open his door for them. Mino couldn't face them. He felt like he dragged not only his name with the issue but the name of his band and his members.
Mino thought he was doing well. Clearly, he wasn't.
"Mino-yah, it's me."
The rapper looked at his door. The one who was knocking was one of the people he disappointed the most. He stopped crying about ten minutes ago but he surely would cry again once he sees Jinwoo's face.
Jinwoo knocked again. "Mino-yah, please."
Mino sighed. He knew that Jinwoo gave him enough time to cry all by himself. He didn't have any confidence right now. He wondered if Jinwoo would be able to restore that self-confidence in him.
Slowly, he walked towards his door and with his shaking hand, he opened it.
He looked at Jinwoo who was looking at him worriedly. His eyes were teary as he bit his lower lip.
"Jinwoo-hyung," Mino whispered.
Instead of a word, Mino found himself wrapped inside the arms of Jinwoo, hugging him, holding him tightly.
For Mino, Jinwoo was his shield against any harmful things surrounding the rapper.
For Mino, Kim Jinwoo was indeed his blanket.
"I'm here. I'm always here, Mino-yah," Jinwoo comforted him.
Mino started crying again as he hugged Jinwoo back, as tightly as he could. Those were the words he needed to hear. No matter how big the mistakes he would be committing in the future, all Mino needed to know was there would be someone who would accept him.
All he needed was Jinwoo.

Jinwoo-hyung, I'm sorry!!! I'll be late!!! These new friends of mine dragged me to hang out with them. ㅠㅠ I'll leave as soon as I can. I'm really sorry, hyung~ ㅠㅠ
Smiling, Jinwoo replied immediately to Mino's message.
My Japanese language class ended really late so I haven't left the dorm yet. Let's just postpone this date and do it next week. Have fun, okay? ^^
"Are you okay, young man?" an old lady asked him.
Still wearing his smile, Jinwoo answered politely, "I'm fine."
The old lady, who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant, nodded.
Jinwoo looked at the food he ordered for Mino. He was sure that the rapper would be very hungry after the filming.
He touched his face and just noticed that he was crying. The mat hyung realized it might be the reason why the old lady approached him.
Wiping his tears, Jinwoo started eating the food on the table. It wasn't the first time he got stood up on a date with Mino.

My Japanese language class ended really late so I haven't left the dorm yet. Let's just postpone this date and do it next week. Have fun, okay? ^^
Mino sighed. How could he have fun when he was looking forward to his date with Jinwoo?
He knew he had a choice when his new friends from SMTM4 dragged him. Mino could have said no firmly. However, as what Jinwoo told him the other day, he shouldn't be only joining the show just to win but also to meet new friends and create stronger bond with his other friends who were in the show.
Mino wanted to take Jinwoo out because he had been studying Japanese very hard. The mat hyung needed a break. And by the looks of it, Jinwoo's Japanese class got extended again.
I'll go home early and we'll have late night snack. Mino replied.

"You are only saying that because I'm your boyfriend," Mino pouted.
Jinwoo stopped looking at the shirt he was planning to buy and looked at Mino instead.
"I'm telling you the truth. You were the best. You nailed it. What did Snoopy Dogg say? You are a dope. And yes, you were. You are," Jinwoo assured him.
"I know Snoopy is a dog but it was Snopp Dogg who told me that I was a dope, hyung," Mino laughed. Jinwoo looked at him blankly.
"Hey! That's what I said," Jinwoo protested.
"Aigoo. Okay. Okay," Mino laughed harder.
Jinwoo pouted and ignored Mino as he continued to check the shirt he was looking at a while ago. He suddenly felt Mino's arm around his shoulders.
"Do you think I really nailed it, hyung?" Mino asked.
"Yes. And you will beat all those other rappers because you are a talented rapper and I believe in you because I am your number one fan," Jinwoo beamed. He looked at Mino and saw the rapper's red face.
"I cannot believe you are still blushing," Jinwoo laughed then he left Mino as he looked around the store. Mino was about to chase after him when Jinwoo heard someone call the rapper.
"Yah! Song Minho!"
From the rack of jackets where he was standing, Jinwoo looked at the guy. Woo Jiho was accompanied by the four other guys. It was Mino's team in SMTM4.
Jinwoo observed them as they greeted each other and talked animatedly. Seeing Mino surrounded with his friends made Jinwoo smile but then he realized that a wall was suddenly built between him and Mino. They didn't seem to notice Jinwoo.
Jinwoo waited until Mino could actually remember that he was with him but he had been standing for almost six minutes and they were still talking about their previous performances.
Ten minutes had passed when Jinwoo decided to put down the clothes he was planning to buy and leave the shop.
It took him thirty minutes to receive a call from Mino, asking worriedly for his location. Jinwoo waited inside a café as he lied to Mino about going around the shopping mall because he wanted to buy something.
As Mino entered the café, Jinwoo noticed how Mino smiled. But before he could sit beside him, he was mobbed by his fans.
Jinwoo nodded as Mino mouthed "I'm sorry" to him. As he waited for Mino again, the mat hyung checked some social networking sites and saw fanaccounts about seeing Mino in the shopping mall.
Just Mino.
Of course, who would ever notice the unknown member of Winner?
Looking at Mino, Jinwoo was surprised that he didn't feel jealous of Mino's popularity. However, he felt something different. He couldn't point it out though.
"I really wanted to introduce you to my team, hyung. Where have you been?" Mino sat down across Jinwoo after signing autographs and having selcas with his fans.
"Just there. I was looking for something. Where are they, anyway?" the vocalist asked.
"Oh, they went somewhere to have dinner. They were inviting me so we could plan on our next performance but I told them that I promised to have dinner with you. So let's go and have dinner? I'm starving," Mino replied, smiling at him.
Now Jinwoo knew what he couldn't point out a while ago.
Mino should be having dinner and discussing his performance with his team but because he promised Jinwoo that they would spend that day together, he missed an important discussion.
He has become a burden for Mino, Jinwoo concluded.

"Fuck!" Mino cursed that his friend, Jiho who was talking about the performances of the other teams in SMTM4, looked at him.
"What happened?" Jiho asked.
Hyung, did you leave the store? Where are you? I'll introduce you to my SMTM teammates. :)
That message wasn't sent, which should have been sent thirty minutes ago. Mino thought Jinwoo was just enjoying shopping around, store-hopping. The rapper was okay if Jinwoo had forgotten that he was with Mino because it has been a while since the eldest left the dorm to enjoy his free time.
"Guys, I'm sorry but I have to go," Mino said with urgency in his voice as he also hit the call button on his phone.
"Where are you going? Let's have dinner and discuss our strategy for the next performance," Jiho told him.
"I'm sorry, hyung but I promised that this day is for- Jinwoo-hyung! Where are you? What are you doing?" Mino asked worriedly as soon as Jinwoo answered his call. He didn't even bother to finish what he was saying to Block B's leader.
"I'm just walking around. I'm looking for something," the guy on other line answered.
"My message for you wasn't sent! Where are you now?... Alright. Wait for me there," Mino said then he hung up. He faced his fellow rappers and smiled at them apologetically.
"I'm sorry, guys. I have to go. I'll call you later and ask about the details for our strategy. Bye!" Winner's younger rapper said. He bowed at his friends then ran and left the store immediately.

Jinwoo blew the candles on the cake he bought for Mino to celebrate his victory on winning SMTM. The other members were helping him to clean up. Lee Seunghoon put the food in the refrigerator. Nam Taehyun and Seungyoon put away the banner they made for Mino.
The oldest vocalist ignored how his three dongsaengs looked at him.
Of course, he was pitiful.
"I'm so sorry, Jinwoo-hyung. The staff has a surprise celebration for the champion. I'll leave as soon as I can," Mino explained on the other line.
"It's okay, Mino-yah. They worked hard, preparing that party for the winner. Party hard. You deserve that. Enjoy," Jinwoo replied as he shook his head when Seunghoon mouthed, "It's not okay, Jinwoo-hyung!"
"I'm really sorry, hyung. I really want to celebrate this victory with you. I owe you this, for believing in me. I'll make it up to you. I love you," Mino said sweetly.
"Stop worrying about me, Mino-yah. It's okay. Just enjoy and have fun. I love you, too," Jinwoo replied then hung up as he turned his back on the worried eyes of the three other boys because his tears started to build up.

Mino forced himself to smile at those who were congratulating him. He told himself repeatedly that he should enjoy the surprise celebration of the SMTM4 production crew for the winner.
But all he wanted that time was to be with his bandmates, his family, waiting for him in their dorm.
All he wanted to do that time was to hug them, especially the person who gave him incredible support, understood his situations whenever he was late on their agreed meet-up time.
All Mino wanted to do that time was to tell Jinwoo "I did it, hyung".
Then Jinwoo would give him that proud smile, replying to him, "I knew you would."

Jinwoo watched Mino as he continued to fill his mouth with meat endlessly. Jinwoo looked at Mino's every feature: his eyes, his eyelashes, his forehead, his nose, his cheeks, his cheekbones, his chin, his lips. He tried to look at them without feeling the urge to touch the rapper's face.
"I really want you to stare at me like that for the rest of the night. But I have to leave in an hour because of that photoshoot. I thought they were able to move it like the other interviews and photoshoots in a different day," Mino sighed.
The pretty vocalist just nodded. He felt guilty that Mino had to decline at least two interviews and move some of his photoshoots to a different day just to give way to their date. He already told Mino that it was okay to postpone their celebration but the rapper refused, insisting that he wouldn't allow their celebration to be postponed for another two weeks.
Jinwoo gave Mino his sweetest smiles, most genuine laughs, and his sincerest words of encouragement.
"Since I won, tell me anything you want, Jinwoo-hyung and I'll give it to you," Mino offered him, flashing his childish grin.
Jinwoo answered him with silence.
Mino gave him a worried look. "Jinwoo-hyung?"
Jinwoo could tell that Mino was concerned and confused.
Smiling as though his tears weren't falling freely on his cheeks, Jinwoo finally answered.
"Let's break up, Mino-yah."

Every inch of Mino's body was screaming happiness. Finally, he was able to celebrate with Jinwoo alone. The past two weeks were full of surprise celebrations with family and friends, forcing him and Jinwoo to postpone their date.
After winning, Mino received a lot of offers for future projects and collaborations, interviews, and television and radio guestings. The rapper had to decline two interviews for some magazines, to give time for his celebration with Jinwoo.
Mino tried to hide his smile as he drank his wine because Jinwoo has been staring at him, as though it was his first time to see Mino's face. It made Mino happy and he knew that his face was as red as the cloth cover of their table.
"I really want you to stare at me like that for the rest of the night. But I have to leave in an hour because of that photoshoot. I thought they were able to move it like the other interviews and photoshoots in a different day," Mino sighed.
Jinwoo just nodded and smiled at him.
Time flew so fast as Mino noticed that he had to leave in twenty minutes. He would always forget about time whenever he was with Jinwoo. The vocalist's smile, laugh, and voice were enough to forget anything and everything.
"Since I won, tell me anything you want, Jinwoo-hyung and I'll give it to you," Mino boasted. He would give anything and everything for his Jinwoo-hyung.
However, Jinwoo didn't say anything. Instead, he cried suddenly.
"Jinwoo-hyung?" Mino asked worriedly. Was he crying tears of happiness? But still, Jinwoo was crying. And that fact was excruciating for Mino.
Then Jinwoo smiled but his tears didn't stop from falling on his cheeks.
"Let's break up, Mino-yah."
Mino looked at Jinwoo blankly. He wondered if he heard the older guy right.
"What?" Mino replied.
"I said, let's break up," Jinwoo answered him. His voice was shaking but Mino heard him clearly.
"What?" the rapper asked again.
"Mino-yah, you said you'll give me anything I want," Jinwoo said weakly.
"Anything but that, Jinwoo-hyung!" Mino said, almost shouting.
Mino fisted his hands. His body was shaking. He closed his eyes and wished he was just having a nightmare. However, when he opened his eyes, he was in the same restaurant, eating the same food, looking at the same Jinwoo who was crying and pleading to end their relationship.
The happiness he felt just almost an hour ago suddenly disappeared. All he could hear was Jinwoo's words that Mino never thought he would ever hear from the mat hyung.
Mino tried to understand why Jinwoo was asking for a breakup.
"Why? Are you no longer happy with me? Are you tired of me?" then he paused a bit before asking again.
"Are you no longer in love with me, Jinwoo-hyung?"
Jinwoo shook his head.
"I swear, Mino-yah, every bit of me wants you. You make me fall harder for you every day. And I will never get tired of you-"
"Then why are you breaking up with me?" Mino interrupted him. He waited the mat hyung to say something but he just bit his lower lip, looking at Mino as he cried.
"You will not leave me unless I say so but don't get your hopes high because I will never tell you to leave me," Mino said firmly.
"Mino-yah, can't you see?" Jinwoo asked him.
"What is it that I need to see? All I need to see is you, a happy you," Mino answered as he reached out for Jinwoo's hand. Mino held that hand tightly. He would never let it go.
"Mino-yah, I'm a burden to you and your career," Jinwoo said.
Shocked and disbelief were painted on Mino's face as he looked at his hyung with his mouth opened wide. It seemed like Jinwoo took it as an opportunity to talk about it further.
"Don't think that I'm not proud of you because I am as proud as your mom, with the achievements you have now. But Mino-yah, if I hold on to you, the fruits of these achievements will perish. You rescheduled photoshoots and rejected interviews for this dinner. I know you will get more of those in the future but why did you reschedule them? For whom were you doing those?" Jinwoo explained.
"For you and I will cancel all of my appointments if I have to so I could spend more time with you," Mino answered. The rapper felt the hand that he was holding move as Jinwoo interlaced their fingers.
"Exactly. For me. Everything is for me that you are ready to throw away what you are trying to build for your career. But who am I, Mino-yah in the eyes of the public? I'm that unknown member of your group-"
"Kim Jinwoo!" Mino called him out. He hated it when Jinwoo talked about himself like this.
"No, Mino-yah. That's the truth. And we already have a huge wall between us," the vocalist pointed out.
Instead of answering, Mino raised his left hand, the one that wasn't holding Jinwoo's hand to get the waiter's attention. A young waiter went to their table and Mino asked for their bill.
"I'll take you to the dorm, hyung. It's a tiring day. Let's just talk about this later because I don't fucking understanding anything," Mino said sternly.
Jinwoo didn't say a word and just nodded. As soon as Mino got the bill, he paid it right away. He and Jinwoo bowed to the waiter and left the restaurant.
However, there were some fans waiting for them outside the restaurant. Mino tried his best to smile and gave them autograph.
He looked at Jinwoo, wanting to know how he could still smile when they were just talking about break up a while ago.
But he was surprised when the fans didn't notice Jinwoo at all. Jinwoo was standing a little far away from him as more fans continued to flock towards Mino, forcing Jinwoo to move away from the crowd.
Mino stared at Jinwoo as the mat hyung smiled at him. He was sure that he felt how proud Jinwoo was for him. Then he turned his back on the rapper and walked away, leaving Mino with the fans.

Jinwoo smiled brightly at Mino as the latter waved goodbye to the four boys of Winner. The rapper was chosen by a beverage company to be their new model and the photoshoot for the product was in Australia.
"I'll try not to get lost in Sydooney, Jinwoo-hyung," Mino joked.
Jinwoo laughed and said, "Make sure you won't!"
Mino smiled at the mat hyung and for a few seconds, they exchanged a certain kind of stare.
That day when Jinwoo asked Mino to end their relationship, both sent a message to each other. A single message that led them to their current status.
Jinwoo-hyung, I'll wait for you until the feeling of being a burden to me vanishes. I will go up. So when your day to soar higher comes, I will be the one to hold your hand and guide you until we reach the top.
Mino-yah, wait for me until I deserve to be the person you cancel your engagements for. And never forget that I am always here, your number one fan.
They didn't need to reply a yes.
Until the promised day, they will wait.
