Probiotics

I couldn't find anything like this after 10 minutes in the memories, but I'm happy to take memory links if anyone has better luck.

Because of the summer heat, my 18-month-old daughter has now had two yeast infections in her diaper area. After the first, we decided to try and address the systemic issues as well as treating any future infections topically -- we moved even further away from refined sugars and grains than we already were and tried to keep her overall sugar intake even lower. We also started giving her some of the Activia yogurt with her regular milk (my husband and I also drink it), but the benefit of the probiotics seems a little counteracted in this case with the added sugar. We give her the plain flavor, and even THAT has 12 grams of sugar.

Does anyone have a home recipe for a probiotic drink we could try with her? Or can we just use small amounts of probiotic capsules and add those to her other drinks? Bonus points if it's a medium that can pull double duty for her AND us, since we'd really like to get away from those little containers.
