I prefer razor blades to knives simply because the cut is cleaner, quicker, and usually a bit less painfull, especially when limbs are involved. The only problem is, the dull quickly, so if you try to use them more then a few times, you might as well just be hacking at that bone with a blunt strip of steel.

I do hope you're following.

Suffice to say, though, I don't want to keep hacking off the limb. I do value our friendship, quite a bit, actually, and I want to still be friends. I do still want to come down and visit and all that jazz. Just, right now, I think distance is best until I'm sure the limb isn't going to grow back just to get hacked off again. I do appreciate the distance you've kept, especially how silent you've managed to keep him (I don't like to use names on intarweb cream`e), and, hopefully, in time things will... well, be brighter. Yes, yes, I know I burn in the sun, but a little brightness helps even in the shadows.

just knowing that you don't hate me makes me feel a lot better. I can't even put into words what your friendship means to me. Yes, right now, distance is best...i will keep your stuff safley guarded...i've already, in essence, lost you, and i'll be damned if i lose your stuff. time heals all wounds, but this one will definatley leave a scar. And without brightness, there would be no shadows...
