Apparently I'm a pirate now. Inui-senpai picked me up at the docks in . . . a really large boat . . . and he says we're too far out to sea to turn around so I guess I'm on his crew for a while. I believe I can let a few of the sea-thugs free now that you're around to help with the hull and the tying of the sails and whatnot. Do you think it would be appropriate use of the plank? I picked one up when we were in port.

And I see you have met Lambo. He's a recent recruit and in charge of the cannon.

I believe he has a false eye made from glass. This is the story he gave me.

Planks are essential to pirate ships, used in a humiliating form of execution. It's merely a countermeasure to discourage mutiny.

I was under the impression that he is a cow. Hmm.

According to my research, time on the sea changes one's personality. I have noted that Echizen sleeps 35% more than usual, but it's unclear if this is the kind of change the data suggests may occur.

Upon closer inspection, it appears he is a human being, five years of age. At times.
