Mom told me last night that the nuisance isn't even buying his plane ticket until next week. He's dragging this out for exactly three months, just like we thought he would. He seems to think giving us a token amount of money and not eating our food entitles him to stay as long as he likes. Because of him, Mom's not willing to let anyone else stay

God, I don't even know this guy and I want to punch him. He sounds like such a piece of shit.

It's not fair of your godmother to just dump him on you like this, and not even have the decency to tell him to hurry the fuck up and get out of your house.

He is, and she's no better. She's been living in her sister (our cousin)'s house for two years, and intends to stay two years more, only with the addition of him. She feels entitled to the rest of the family's goodwill, but won't lift a finger for anyone else in return.

Our cousin's husband isn't the kind of person to pull punches though. Mom thinks that once he's experienced the combined aggravation of my depressing godmother and her intensely annoying boyfriend, he'll throw them both out.
