HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHEYENNE!
Last night I wrote letters [real letters, like, on actual paper] to Christian Hoff, J. Robert Spencer, Daniel Reichard, and Michael Longoria. They were the Jersey Boys I saw my first time [I can't believe I saw it more than once!]. I just felt like thanking them for giving me two great days. I mean, that show made my NYC trip! I told them how it the whole show blew me away. At the stage door I can't tell them everything I want to because 1, I'll start crying [I'm already a wreck by the end of the show] and 2, they have more people to get to. So I thought I should properly thank them with a hand-written letter. I sent them this morning. I hope they all read them. I just want them all to know how much I enjoyed their performances. I don't want a signed headshot or anything back. I just want them to know.
I also wrote an e-mail to John Lloyd Young. That was a bit awkward. I told him how I basically went to NYC to see him, which is true. I mean, of course I wanted to see other shows and go shopping- but really, I wanted to see him the most. I told him how I tried three times, and failed. But then I got to telling him how amazing his voice is and how he's so talented. I hope he reads it as a "aw, man, I missed ya! But maybe I'll see you some other time... you're awesome" instead of a "you suck. you never showed up." Because I still think he's amazing. I totally understand how it must be hard to perform that show 8 times a week.
