[ATC] amberace01 - Progress
Series: Final Fantasy VIII (8)
Character: Laguna Loire
Mediums: White card stock, metallic gel pens, Millennium ink pens, Roseart colored pencils, ribbon (to be placed on once I get the back done)

I tried to do this kinda-sorta 'art noveau' style of drawing, so that it wasn't just Laguna and his little kitty there. The reason why he's turned away is because I failed too many times trying to draw his friggin profile, so I turned his head the other way. I dunno how much of an effect it takes, but whatever. I like it the way it is. His outfit and the cat were based off of a piece of Amano artwork of Laguna, concept art actually.
The circle in the background was... I dunno. I didn't know what to put, so I just drew marquee diamond shapes and triangles. Then I colored it violet because Laguna's manikin in Dissidia is violet in color.
Now all I have to do is finish the drawing on the back, and then send it on it's way to the friend this is for. :3
