A Who-themed Halloween!
So I'm finally posting magically managing to post on-time the Halloween 2008 escapades of the Nerd Cube!
Somehow, I never realised how short I was until I saw this photo...
First of all, we had to find our costume pieces, of course. We're quite proud of the fact that nearly everything for these outfits was bought at secondhand shops! An exception was the white hi-tops the Doctor wears; Kayz found this generic pair for cheap and then I "broke them in" in the span of three hours by wading into the lake with them on, scrubbing them through the sand, rubbing dirt on them, running up and down the streets, and finally putting them through the wash twice!
There are nasty old runners in my bathtub. Does that mean the Doctor's around here somewhere?
Then on the day, we all had some outdoor fun, posing for the camera. The park was a nice-looking place to do this.
It says, "Captain Jack Harkness is single, and works out". But he doesn't know that. Or does he?

And then it was time for some action shots, how could we not!
The Doctor and Captain Jack in a tight spot...
EXPELLIARM -- oh, wait, wrong fandom...
I love how clearly this shot turned out.
Our RUN!!!! scene may have been hampered by the fact we were both cracking up the whole time.
Rose and the Doctor standing outside everyone's favourite VTSO - Vaguely TARDIS-Shaped Object.
And as the night wore on, of course we would all have to witness THIS:
Have you MET the French?!
Which resulted in THIS:
I see a fangirl.
Which was hilarious, because Kayz was having this silent fit of fangirlyness (it was like a seizure! Only standing up) behind the bar, and it just happened to get caught on film.
And credit goes to our LOVERLY nullv01d for being our Camera-Nurse that day! We were going to get some shots of Rose and the Doctor running away from the terrifying Silent Hill nightmare, but the batteries died! Ah well, I'm sure this won't be the last time...
She worked really hard on this one! Aaaagh!
