Just want to share some pictures.

I hope everyone has had a great Merry Yule, Christmas and Hanukkah. David and I had fun spending our first holidays as a married couple and starting our own traditions. We got the tree thing going on this year, made a Yule Log (completely unsuccessful, but a lot of fun still), and giving gifts on both Yule and Christmas to each other. We sneaked around the neighborhood at midnight with Taj and placed doggy treats on the steps of fellow neighbors with dog companions, and even sneaked gifts for the neighbors children on their doorstep (labeled: "From Santa's Elves"), and some sweet treats for our neighbor George too. No one will really know who it is from since we didn't really label them, but perhaps a few might know that we are the ones sneaking some joy to their doorsteps. I also don't like giving money out to donations that are around town usually too because of how I don't know how the money is being used most of the time, but I have been trying to hand out some cash here and there to those on the streets with signs. I just want to take the time to reach out to you guys who might be reading this to say that I hope we all can come together to try to help one another in this world, because there is no time for hate, and the world can never have enough kindness. Reach out and touch someone with Peace and Joy! Even the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference to creating a better place.

And now for some pictures:

Taj at the Christmas family party playing with his buddy, Rosie the Bulldog.

Taj really likes to take hikes while we are at the dog park since there is a nice trail that goes through the woods by the park.

Taj at the dog park with his Red Merle Australian Shepherd pals, Bodi and Cooper.

Our neighbor's dog just had puppies and I was so excited that she knocked on our door to tell us when it happened so that we could be there to see them!

David and I decided to make a tradition of trying to make a Yule Log cake every year, starting this year. To say the least, we sucked at making it this year, and this picture was my reaction from my first taste of the Yule Log. Overboard on the sugar....
