"Business" has been successful lately, to say the least. School is moving along and keeping me busy and competitive. Taj makes me laugh and cry tears of happiness

A belated happy new year to you! First I am so glad you are going back to the Islands. I think you were called to the mainland because you were destined to meet and fall in love...just not to the one you thought you would fall in love with. It will be good for you to move on; I am so happy for you!
I went back to the Islands for Thanksgiving. Bruce is now engaged to a mainland girl so I went surfing with Michael. It was fun but I felt really bad because Michael wasn't catching waves, but it felt good out there. I wish there were a way to move there and stay forever but I don't think that will be feasible for years!
I love your dog. Is Taj an Australian Shepherd? He has a LOT of personality!
BTW I stopped going to Christian church because I got pretty uncomfortable with this freaky family that would always insist on sitting with us and then the father (a guy in his late 20s or early 30s) was praying to kill all the Muslims. This freaked me out so I told M that I wasn't going to go to a church that prayed for ethnic cleansing. Sheesh! We go to a Bhuddist church and it is OK. I think you have to search for the place that you feel spiritually connected. It just isn't Christianity for you. You'll find your place someday. Don't let intolerance and pressure from other dissuade you.
