The development name for Mozilla Firefox 3 is Gran Paradiso.[14] The precursory releases are currently codenamed "Minefield", as this is the name of the trunk builds. "Gran Paradiso", like other Firefox development names, is an actual place. "Gran Paradiso" is the name of a national park in Italy. When Firefox 3 branches, it will adopt the "Gran Paradiso" codename. The release timeframe for Firefox 3 is November 2007.[15]
