It's been awhile
Yes, I realize that it's been awhile, and as I've said before, there has just been a shot load of work to do and its been crazy. Tomorrow is my last day of classes before Thanksgiving break, and as much as I'm excited for it, I'm a little annoyed too. I forgot to take time off of work so I have to drive back to work Friday night and Saturday night. It just bugs me cause it takes away time for me to see people/relax and do nothing before I have to come back to school and do a lot of little things in the 2 weeks i have left before Christmas Break.
Its strange how fast this semester has passed. It seems like only yesterday I moved in and started college all over again at a new school. Its definately weird not being at UNH, but I'm happy that I made the change, its what I needed to do for me. I like living in an apartment, it makes going home a little bit different than before, cause now I don't seem to mind doing little things around the house because I've come to realize how effing annoying it is to have roommates that don't clean. The girl I share a bedroom with is great, her and I get along so well its awesome, but my other suitemates make life annoying because they NEVER clean up after themselves, like there were dishes in the sink for a week and they started to smell and neither of them cleaned then (let the record show that I hadn't used any of those dishes, hence the reason I didn't wash them). So those annoyances are frustrating because I've been cleaning the apartment just about every week and no one ever bothered to do it themselves and no one said thank you, they just go and make a mess all over again. I almost want my other 2 roommates to get on campus next semester so that me and Talia have the place to ourselves and we don't have to worry about people being dirty and leaving a wicked mess. Plus, if we didn't get stuck with any other roommates then we'd have a room each to ourselves.
So other than the roommate situation, I like life a Bentley. Its a lot more work that UNH was, but at least I feel like I'm getting my money's worth here. All the classrooms are really high tech and bringing your computer to class is a norm, unlike UNH where you got the funny looks like "you actually plan on paying attention?" (although in my philosoply class here, I sit online the whole time... like right now, lol)
Ummm.... yeah, what else has been going on in my life? Not a whole lot. Spend just about all my time doing homework and whatnot, but I'm learning interesting things.
Also, Tyson and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 12th. We went into Boston and saw Blueman Group, and I absolutely loved it, I'd never seen it before and it was a lot of fun, I laughed like the whole time. Then we went and saw the Borat movie (cause we're that cool) which was pretty funny, not quite what I was expecting but there were funny things about it. And for dinner, we got all dressed up and went to The Capital Grille. It was really good food and so worth the money. It was really nice getting to spend the whole day with him and doing some things that we normally do (go to the movies) and some that we don't (Blueman Group and expensive dinner). And I spent a really long time putting together a scrapbook for him, and he really liked it, and he got me a really nice Fossil watch cause he remembered that I said I wanted a new one. He's just so sweet and I love that he remembers little things that I say to him in passing, it shows how much he cares.
So I think on that note, I'll end here. I can't wait for Thanksgiving and I especially can't wait for Christmas Break cause its a month off where I get to be at home and if things work out right I won't have to come back here for work a whole lot.
