cobos is in Trondheim this weekend for his studies. I do enjoy my weekends alone (though I'm not alone with the cats, of course), but I always fret that I never get anything done. Ah well. The internet has been slow, in terms of people-being-onlineness. I always get slightly angsty by that, as I start wondering if everyone else has a life but me. :p Then again, it tends to be either/or for me. Either tons of spare time, or none, rather than a mix. I go back to work on Monday, and I'm guessing I'll be working a lot from then on, as we've got the Easter rush coming up. I did get some stuff done around the house yesterday, had my mom over, and went to see my gran. Came home, made some curry, drank wine, listened to innuendo. (Would have been a good name for a band, that.) So that was a full, rich day. Oh, and
Emohawk is up at
ccharlespics.
There are a couple of exciting things that I don't really want to talk about yet; I'm paranoid that way. I'll be finalizing one tomorrow. Eeep.
The cats are settled in nicely, by the way. Took just a few days for Nemi (oddly, as she's the shy one) to get mighty brave with me. Now they climb all over me when I'm lying on the couch, like being picked up and sitting on my lap, and headbutt me all the time. They even accepted my mom when she visited yesterday, though it took them a while, and Nemi kept her distance.
I'll probably download
one of these today while I wait for
cobos to come home. I have Aeon Fluxx, so I'll probably go for that one. I REALLY want to hear the Battlefield Earth one, but I'd have to rent that, and I'm not up for scouring rental places for it. I'm assuming it's not overly popular.
Eh. Quite "meh" today.
EDIT: I think I may be a little down because last year at this time I was in Brighton with
duckface, having an absolutely mind-blowingly good time. I miss the UK. I wish I was there now. :(
EDIT II: Went for run. Feeling six million times better, though run was crap. Side effects apparently include now only being able to write in telegram style. Noted. Should put clothes on.
