How stupid is that?
I put some sugar water on the stove to boil for the hummers.
Then I forgot it.
I now have a nice pot full of carbon bubbles, and a house full of smoke.
What I don't understand is why not one of my many smoke alarms has gone off (city required me to add one to every room when I remodeled my bathroom)-- and yes I have changed their batteries. In March, with Kirkland batteries.
Another close escape, I guess. It could be much worse.
My eyes hurt. I gotta go outside!
