Stargate, may you rest in peace

ok so here i sit before class, done with my current homework. I thought i would journal, as i do not seem to journal much anymore. A major event in my life has happened. Stargate Sg-1, the show i have watched for 10 years, the show that started my fascination in mythology, is ending. This will be its final season. I am quite upset about the news. I do understand though. Stargate Sg-1 had fallen below par. It was no longer the great show i had once known. I still watched it, but i did not mind missing an episode or two is i had to. So i will miss it, but it did have a great run, and was an amazing show. I knew it had to end sometime. Atlantis still survives, and it is as great now as Stargate had once been. I love Atlantis and will continue to watch it, though in my heart i will long for the mothershow and the characters i knew so well. Long Live Stargate :) (dork i know :P)

So i am making myself a schedule so that i can complete all my homework, work out, and go to work. I do not want to fall behind or watch tv instead of doing what i should. My GPA will not fall another point. It will rise. I will get into graduate school and beyond. I will work hard. I will be a professor. I know i will teach english, and i do wish to teach creative writing, but there are other areas as well, that i enjoy. We shall decide later, i do have quite a while.

I start my first day as supervisor next tuesday... go me.. :) I know i will do fine. Off to class. Thanks for reading.
