i'm sorry that really sucks :(
i can't believe she didn't give more notice. sad that some people don't think about how their actions effect others. sounds like you were a good friend so it will come back around to you in a good way. hope things get better soon with $ and such. take care~

well, I can be thankful that we do have SOME notice. It just would have been nice to know that this was even an option, ya know? *shrug* but we'll survive. we always do. *grin* plus, it WILL be nice to be back to being just us.

well, as it sits right now, dragonCon is out unless something good happens. It sucks balls, but there isn't much I can do right now but work on surviving. Thankfully, DC is far enough away, that I can say that it's out for now, but there's still time for that to change.

I know how it sucks to have to cut back, I had to when I left Schneider to work at PAM. Better shift but less pay. I had to make some pretty drastic changes, but have now been that way for over a year and have more or less gotten used to the lifestyle, even if finances are a constant worry. (Of coarse, with the new job starting next week that may all be eliminated :) ) So while it won't be easy, I know you can handle it, and it won't be too long before you're back where you want to be. And as a side note, I don't know who you have for DSL, but I know with AT&T you can get it without a phone line. Granted, the service costs more than the advertised DSL package and it really doesn't save a whole lot in the end, but believe me, every $10 or $15 helps. So that's a thought you can look into if you want. Just keep the spirits up and an eye to the future and I know you'll be just fine.

Love ya Sis!

Oh, we'll survive. We always do. It just may be a little stressful and tough for a bit. I'm well beyond the panic stage, so things don't look as gloomy as they did. I'm big on getting the panic out of the way FIRST. Then I can concentrate one what i need to concentrate on, LOL.

Well, we HAD bellsouth, but att bought them out, so I think technically we've got att now. Crap, that's something I need to call on today. Blarg. Don't wanna... I hate making calls like that. :p Oh well, gotta do what ya gotta do, right?

Oh, here- *throws some conga rats at you* that's for the new job. :D
