thoughts about gaming and other nuggets of joy --
told the etherpunk.com/gamer site about the 'university of mages' and its 'companions'... that was a lot of fun, BTW...
my Traveller game is brewing well. there's enough story to keep things going on that backwater little planet and beyond. the group might just want to play in that world for a while instead of my SteamPunk world. i'll finish writing my steampunk environment anyway. a non-earth take on technology in the midst of a magical renaissance should be enough writing to keep me working a while.
saw Spiderman 2 this weekend. it was really good - reminded me of some of my best moments in gaming!
Omni is getting thick. i like that! with any luck, the rules will be fleshed out fully for the end of my trip. i'll have to make it a point to write something like 1.5 hours per day on it while away, but that shouldn't be too hard. what will be difficult will be resisting the distraction that this laptop represents! watching DVDs on it just rocks! focus on the game - not the passive entertainment you can get at WalMart for USD $7.44.
money is about to get strange. that's all i'm typin' about it right now. i hate travelling for work. it always puts me in a hard place WRT the bills and such. so much you loose track of when you're not at home everyday... i mowed the lawn today before my return trip. that sucked, but it's done. why is my bloodpressure high again? oh yeah - i tame robots and the people that rely on them at work!
