Goddess Tara
Tara - The Buddhist Goddess of compassion and truth. She guides her devotees through life's ups and downs and helps them get over negative emotions. She is seen as the champion of female spiritual enlightenment. Tara's name translates as 'she who causes one to cross'. It's believed that this means she helps devotees get through times of trouble.Harness her strengths and beauty!

You're a serene and compassionate being with a playful and optimistic nature. You have strong psychic abilities and a rich inner world, but you're no pushover. When you have a problem, your first instinct is to meditate and chant, but if all else fails, you'll be ready to fight. You're so kind that people are often shocked when they see your ferocious side. However, this will only be invoked when protecting your children or if you're being coerced into doing something that you feel is against your own will.

Call on this Goddess to overcome fear, anxiety, hatred and jealousy. I did one of those silly quizzes on fb, and didn't want to post the result 'cause it was a What Goddess are You quiz, and I didn't want to deal with the fallout.  But the answer was fun, and something that I want to research later.  I did not know that Buddhism had this goddess...

I got this on a fb quiz, and I've never heard of her!  So I thought I'd post it up here so I'd remember to research her later.
