There's some people that i just want to shake. Make them wake up. Do they tell themselves (and you) lies, just to make a more perfect, and more fake, connection? Now tell me, how can I believe anything you used to tell me? It's obvious now that I never meant anything to you. If I did, you would want to fix it, but instead you just run away. Because you run away from everything that ever approaches something real. And you never even look back. The saddest part is you run away for very fake reasons.
And tell me...
How can you expect people to understand you when you refuse to give them anything to work with? So don't tell me that I'm making assumptions, when you are making the same assumptions yourself. It's your responsibility to set the record straight; I am trying to make sense of you with the little information I have. Don't blame me for trying.
And then there are those wonderful people who try so hard to make everything better. And they really do. Sometimes they don't realize how amazing they are. I hope you know who you are, because let me tell you, you are extraordinary. I feel truly blessed to know you.
