Kirigakure seems a lot quieter than I remember it...but that's not surprising now though, is it? Well, at least the village seems quiet...I can't say the same about the rooms we've been issued; I wish the twins and Tayuya would stop their ridiculous squabbling while we're here. The Kirigakure shinobi didn't seem too surprised to see us when we arrived... I was afraid that they would recognize me, but I only saw one person give me a look more glaring than the others before they whispered something to a person near them and took off. I spoke briefly with a Jounin who greeted us about our business here. He assured us that the Mizukage would see us as soon as possible, but until he did, we would be welcome to some rooms in the village, which we have...
I didn't know that the Mizukage would grant an audience so soon, however. A messenger was sent to my room a few hours ago to meet with the Mizukage privately, and that's where I've been.
My fears that I would be recognized was fulfilled... As soon as I entered the room, the Mizukage greeted me by name.
"So, what does Orochimaru want, Kaguya?"
I couldn't help but glare. The way he sneered as he said Orochimaru-sama's name angered me. "He would like to propose a treaty, Mizukage-sama. He feels that you and he could benefit from joining forces." I reached into my pouch and pulled the scroll from it. "Here, he told me to give this to you."
The Mizukage had a really disturbing smile as he took the scroll and glanced quickly at it. "So, he sent you as a gift?"
"Possibly," I answered. After all, it could have been the reason; I am worthless.
A disturbing laugh matched the smile. "Ah, he didn't have to do that. Don't worry, Kaguya, destroying your foolish clan once was enough." He put his head in his hand and tilted it, still with the creepy grin. "I'll consider this matter, you can go back to your room and teammates."
"Thank you, Mizukage-sama," I said and bowed before I hurried out of the room.
...I'm a little nervous about this... The rest of you should be prepared.
You all should know, we're not really here for a treaty. Orochimaru-sama wants one of the Mizukage's scrolls, and we're here to get it, no matter what the Mizukage decides to do. You all should be prepared for an attack at any moment, so it'd be best if you all stop goofing around!
