Haunt attraction at Queen Mary

Every year, I try to make at least one haunted attraction, as I love these things! This year, my instructor invited me to Queen Mary Dark Harbor. We arrived in Long Beach early, but were unable to get dinner on the Queen Mary, as every restaurant was full with reservations. We waited in line to get into the Dark Harbor attraction after browsing through some of the shops on the Queen Mary. Had I known that Dark Harbor is an attraction with several haunted mazes, I would have planned things better. As it was, we got through three mazes and had a quick dinner from one of the food court carts in the attraction itself.
The mazes were lots of fun and very elaborate. Two of them were on the Queen Mary and invoked real haunted areas of the Queen Mary. "Submerged" brought us below the waterline and through scenario of drowned souls, devoured sailors, and soggy spooks. "Containment" was a maze of insane patients and horrible medical procedures, using some of the historic props of the Queen Mary during her time as a troop transport in World War II. The last maze took place inside the "Cage", which was the dome that housed the Spruce Goose, and involved a very confusing dark maze that was tricky to get out of. I'm still not sure that we went through the correct exit, but we did escape the Cage.
One of the mazes I wanted to go on was closed when we arrived, but only opened after we decided to leave. We beat the traffic out of the harbor and got home in good time. Both of us were tired and we had a wonderful time. I would recommend bringing a thick jacket(I did) as the harbor generates cold temperatures for nighttime visitors. Some stayed on the Queen Mary itself, which might be a plan for future visits.
