Hey all,
I just got an email from the shiki project shop. As Isshi mentioned on his blog, those who attended his Kikon dinner show will receive a necklace (his original design) as a gift.
Guests who attended on 7/28 will receive the "white version," with a silver chain, a clear stone, and the character "志" (Isshi's 'shi,' meaning 'will' or 'aspiration') inscribed on the back.
Guests who attended on 7/29 will receive the "black version," with a gold chain, a black stone, and the character "鬼" ('ki,' oni) inscribed on the back.
However!
For those who weren't able to attend, the kind folks behind shiki project will also be offering these necklaces for sale via their webshop. The catch is that they can only start making them if they can get over 100 orders. Whether it's a domestic order or foreign order doesn't matter, it still counts - so please, if you would like one of these necklaces let's go for it!
http://xc530.eccart.jp/q783/item_detail/itemCode,11/ (Note that I'm pretty sure, after reading the mail more closely, that they are not limited to 100, just that they need 100 orders to begin production... but there is no telling how long this preorder will last, so it's definitely best to make sure you get your order in quickly, if you want one for sure!)
ETA: You may have noticed that the white version has sold out and there are (currently) only 17 left of the black version. According to shiki shop, they received a far bigger response than expected (high fives all around!) and have decided to limit orders for the time being. If they are able to do another production run, they will notify us. So if you missed out... not all hope is lost. :)
As for those of you who have placed an order for the white version, they will begin shipping out in about 3 weeks.
