finished book. . .
Tonight I finished reading Messy Spirituality. I need to find the Lamott book that I couldn't find in the morning I took my mom to school so I can return it to the library. I did return the other one.
Reading this book made me think a lot about myself and my attitudes. It made me be thankful that God DOES love everyone - including me - and is begging us to come to Him. It made me realize even again why I am a member of the ELCA by choice. Yet, it made me SO glad that God loves people of all denominations and house churches and just everybody - and promises salvation to those who believe while just calling for others to believe.
Ahem. In other words, it's a good book. I also liked a lot of the quotes that Yaconelli chose to start chapters.
Maybe I'll go to the library tomorrow and maybe I'll just read a book at home - but I'm thinking I'll go to the library. I'm not sure yet.
