Another boring day in my life. . .

Mar 31, 2006 18:37

Today I went grocery shopping. I got stuff we actually needed. My mom and sister were there, but they just sat at some little tables except when Briana went to get a pie crust and milk and my mom chose the stuff she wanted for breakfast.

My dad yelled when he came home. He'll find a way to be angry about ANYTHING. Somebody managed to move one of my shoes into the living room even though it should not be here at all. He threw it at me.

Then he yelled about the cans not being taken out of the house. My mom is the one that moved them away from the door. However, I can't take cans out on days that I don't have my truck! My dad really tends to forget that it is MY truck. He yells at me about things that I want with it.

He's so heavy that he's made the seat in it lower. He says he hasn't, but I know that's not true because it's way lower than when I got the truck. He also makes a HUGE mess in the truck and then yells at me about the huge mess which is his fault.

My mom and sister neglect cleaning any of their stuff from the living room. I need to clean some stuff, too, but they just tend to refuse.

I need to write a cover letter and perhaps I'll be able to get a job at the Christian Book Center. I looked and I haven't had any income since January!

Maybe one of the other places will actually hire part time during daytime and weekdays. I need that time because of many reasons, especially phone interviews with churches. Those tend to happen on nights and weekends.

I sound like a cell phone commercial - "nights and weekends."

I had an odd dream last night. . .well, it would be this morning since I didn't go to bed until past midnight. . .

My mom and I were coming home. There was nothing unusual about that. She was driving the van and as we drove into the driveway, I saw a bird. We came to a stop and I got out of the van and walked to the bird and it didn't fly away. The bird was very strange. The feathers looked like the fake feathers people make on those birds with that plastic crinkly stuff, but they really were the feathers. It's head was very round. Well, it was kind of like how a nice round eraser down to a pencil looks in shape, except it was much thicker. The bird was about the height of my mom's dog, Micron. It was also about half as long. Think about the size of a dachsund for that. The head was bright yellow and around it's left eye, there was this bright green patch. It's tail was also bright green. It's body was the bright yellow, too. It's beak and it's feet were bright orange. The eyes were beady black. I called my mom over to look at it and she saw it. Then it just walked away a bit and then flew away. That was it.

Perhaps it had to do with when I actually saw an opposum running while we drove into the driveway? I don't know.

The odd phrase from today is "Rolling moss gathers no stone."

silliness, dreams
