Oi, Closed Captions
I was watching more of the DVRed episodes of Craig Ferguson today. There was one where he was talking to Helen Hunt. She asked Craig if he played Blackjack. In the captions it said, "Do you play 'Jack Rows the Boat'"? What the heck is "Jack Rows the Boat?" I mean, really? Hey, closed captioning person, that made no sense!
The letters "SFLRP" always seem to come up, too. I wonder if that means something or if there's some type of button. That sequence of letter is always extra in the captions.
Yeah, proofreading the captions can be fun.
I also like them, though, because my mom and my sister have no idea how to not talk during a show and talk during commercials instead. They always talk during television shows and then say nothing during the commercials!
